Calhoun County WV in 1895. He married Lydia Ann Groves. Lydia,
a daughter of Otha Wallace and Rebecca Elizabeth (Hawks) Groves, was born
July 1, 1862 and died May 18, 1950. After General
Taylor's death, Lydia married William Harrison Simmons. William was
born in 1871 and died in 1916.
