James A. Jackson Bragg, a son of Jesse and Ida (Dick) Bragg, was born in Greenbrier County VA about 1832 and died in Braxton County WV April 1, 1885. James married a widow, Mary Jane (Heater) Heater about 1852. Mary, a daughter of Jacob and Delilah (Riffle) Heater, was born January 17, 1825 and died after 1860. She married Daniel Heater October 18, 1841. Daniel died before 1850. James married Mary Ann (Dean) Williams in Braxton County WV April 1, 1870. Mary Ann, a daughter of William and Nancy (Killingsworth) Dean, was born about 1831. She was the widow of John W. Williams.
